Thank you for coming to my blog! This is a a place that is not only special to me, but has become one of the safest places for me to write and share so much of my heart and soul. Something I've learned throughout the years is that each of us is running a race that has been purposefully, and uniquely marked out for us. I've known this to be true for a long time, but to be honest, I've found myself on the sideline. Wounded. Afraid. And alone. I know that so many people find this experience to be extremely familiar in their own lives and that's why this space is so special to me. I know that we're all hiding behind something. More and more I'm finding that the places where we hide are online and within some sort of social media. My hope is that this place where you intended to hide turns into a place where nothing but light finds you. Where loneliness turns into community, and slowly but surely all of us found on the sidelines will find the strength again to keep running. Together. Feel free to stay awhile. There is nothing too heavy here.
